October Meet-Up: Sunday 22nd October!

Hi folx,

It was great to see everyone again yesterday for our second-ever meet-up – it feels like we’ve got a nice little community growing!

And that’s why I’m pleased to announce our next meet-up! This time we’re going to lean into the religious devotion we feel for Jesse and Katie and hold the meeting on a Sunday. (The fact that the Sunday is more convenient for me, and as co-host I can set the schedule, is merely just a massive coincidence).

Here’s all of the details - don’t forget to hit ‘like’ on this post to let us know if you’re planning on coming, so we can get a sense of numbers.

WHEN: Sunday 22nd October 2023, 3pm until ?

WHERE: The Astronomer, EC1 (Nearest station: Liverpool Street).

WHO: Hopefully you! And a bunch of other sensible people with some mildly heterodox political opinions.

So same pub, same time of day as last time. Slightly different day of the week. The pub is also dog friendly (though probably best to leave your American Bully XL at home).

PS: If you can’t wait until Oct 22nd, our pals, the Shia to our Sunnis, at Persuasion’s London Chapter are going to see their dear leader, Yascha Mounk speak at LSE on October 6th, which looks like it is going to be enormous fun/intellectually nourishing (the best combination of things).
